Avoiding people

Air temperature 56 F, wind SE gusting to 18 mph, overcast. Showers stalk the land, scouting for rain and thunderstorms later. Hope to be able to fit in a walk between.

Dereliction of duty

Met Stripe-nose on my morning walk. She was quite sure I owed her at least a month of petting and chin rubs. While true, I told her I can't make up the deficit in a single session and she will have to make herself available for supplemental efforts.
