Another sunrise

Air temperature 47 F, light southwest wind, partly cloudy. Should be able to get a bike ride in, extending range inch by inch. Or end up dead in a ditch.

Sunday floral report

Wild shadbush blooming, a few tame cherries or plums, tamaracks showing a green haze. No rhodora or moccasin-flowers yet.

No roadkill, although a bloody patch could have been woodchuck size.

Got out on the bike, upriver past my usual turn to the next interstate overpass, thence home through forest and bog. That addendum extends my normal weekday route by about 2.5 miles. We'll see if that becomes the New Normal until the DOT is through with their bridge.
