Changeable weather

Air temperature 38 F, wind west about 5 mph, partly cloudy. Had a patch of rain blow through when I got up, blue sky to the west now. Rain turning to snow forecast tonight.

Merlins back maybe?

We've had a few sightings/hearings of falcons on our local walks, and they are consistent with the merlins of last year. May have a tentative guess on a nest tree. They wouldn't reuse last year's nest even if that tree hadn't been a storm casualty since they left.
