Waning moon morning
Air temperature 36 F, west wind about 10 mph, clear sky. Ground still white. So much for my claim of a snow-free lawn of a week or so back. Meanwhile, song sparrow claims the top of North Neighbor's ornamental maple.

Morning walk, mostly in the street because sidewalks aren't cleared, and no cats available. Many trees damaged, several streets blocked either by power line work or trees across the street. Redirected a FedEx truck on the basis of my scouting expedition.
Walked the other local route this afternoon, still no cats available. Never out of sight of storm damage, but roads now clear and power company bucket trucks working on individual house service connections.
I find typos, misspellings, and grammatical errors to be even more glaring in the posts of professional writers . . .
