A break in the rain

Air temperature 43 F, wind northeast gusting over 30 mph, overcast. More rain in the forecast, plus coastal flood watch at high tide. April showers bring blackflies.

Saw a part-yellow goldfinch at the thistle feeder this morning, first of the year. He doesn't give a damn about coronavirus, except as it might affect his seed supply.

Still windy, still showery.

Not gone with the wind

Got out for a walk between showers, still gusty, no cats.  Worms are out on the sidewalk, so I guess Mama Robin was right in her timing.
