Three planet morning

Air temperature 31 F, wind NW gusting over 30 mph, scattered clouds. We are alleged to have a waning crescent moon predawn, but I didn't catch a glimpse on the newspaper walk.

I guess I can claim that we've lived through another Maine winter. Waited an extra day to be sure . . .

Floral explosion

All those crocus buds? We have sun today. Flowers open. No bees yet, too windy even if they were out, but crocuses don't really need the flowers we bred them for.

Sign of times maybe

Chinese restaurant at the end of the block has been closed for a couple of days. They are mostly takeout, so I don't know if they can't get supplies or just don't think it is worth opening.
