Air temperature 34 F, light SE wind, overcast with scattered showers. We now have a COVID19 case in town, person walked into walk-in clinic, contrary to commonly available medical advice . . .

Sometime in the course of the day, sooner or later, depending on time zone, the sun will cross the equator and all that ice I've piled next to South Neighbor's house will melt.

First vulture sighted. Elder Son saw one enjoying a thermal yesterday. A little bit ahead, but one of our signs of spring.

We have a row of crocus flower buds along the sunporch foundation. Not open yet, but if we get sun tomorrow . . .

The buds weren't there this morning.
