Immediate change

Air temperature 20 F, wind north 23 mph gusting to 40, clouds scudding along. I'd like the wind to shove the political weather out to sea.

Old house revision

Checked an 1875 "aerial view" of our city in the library. The block where that demolished house was located didn't even exist at that point. I'm revising the construction to 1890s, which was a bit of a boom decade.

I never knew that "Rosalind P. Walter" (who supported all those PBS programs) and "Rosie the Riveter" were the same person.
