Battle continues

Air temperature 30 F, wind SW about 5 mph, sky clearing. About 4" of fresh snow overnight, enough to justify cranking up the snowblower. Sub-zero (F) cold forecast the next few nights, so I need to move the crap before doing so endangers fingers and ears . . .

Aerobics again

Driveway and steps and walkways cleared. Stuff moved well enough that I went back down the driveway with a shovel to reach bare asphalt. (Snowblower doesn't clear everything.)

Lather, rinse, repeat

City plow came by, moving slush. So I go out and move slush. If I don't, we'll have a rock-hard ridge of ice tomorrow . . .

Snow squalls blowing through

We'll see how much melts off the asphalt and how much glazes over tonight. And now I'm stuck with "MTA" ear-worming my head, "...as the train comes rumbling through."
