Air temperature 7 F and calm for the newspaper walk, overcast moving in to turn the waning moon into a blob of light. Supposed to get a minor snow this afternoon -- we should be able to fit our grocery run in first.

A small crew was stripping siding off that abandoned house on my afternoon walk route. I don't *know* that those shingles contain asbestos . . .
No face-masks on any of the workers I could see.
