Humans strike again
Some folks on my newspaper walk route put out a multi-function printer along with the rest of their trash last week. The trash guys refused to take it, being a forbidden item. When the folks took their trash bins back, they left the printer. Which various passing assholes have proceeded to smash, leaving electronics and glass scattered next to the road.
Idle walking thoughts
I keep encountering these new-fangled horseless carriages that shut off their engines while waiting for traffic lights and such -- saves gas. And I think about all the older vehicles I've known that are a stone bitch to start, and I wonder what happens with these new toys when they have a decade or so under their wheels and less than stellar maintenance . . .
