Air temperature 33 F, near calm, overcast for the newspaper excursion. City has been vigilant on street salting, less so on the sidewalks. Did not die.

Acres of wishful thinking out there . . .

Someone comes to town . . .

. . . Someone leaves town. Crews setting a modular home, two wide and two high, in the next block of our street where an old place was torn down a couple of years back. And a crawler backhoe has moved next to an abandoned place over on my walk route, behind that barber shop that was torn down last fall. Wonder how they plan to handle the asbestos shingle siding . . .
