Still January

Air temperature 15 F, wind NW about 5 mph, windchill 6 F. Clear sky. We seem to have about an inch of new snow, just enough to disguise the dogshit. Will get out and relocate after the morning internets.

Morning aerobics

Driveway and car and sidewalk and steps cleared. Light fluffy stuff, we could have driven over the plow berm. And had the packed ice there until April . . .

Winter driving joys

Chain reaction pileup out on the Interstate, about 30 cars as of last report, no fatalities. Same area as a much larger crash scene a few years back. Driving 70 mph plus on clear road, and suddenly you head into shadows and drifted snow . . .
