Air temperature 40 F, west wind about 5 mph, clear sky. Weather-perps are still waffling about a snowstorm Thursday into Friday. Or maybe rain. Or maybe nothing. I'll do my bit to disturb the balance by swapping lawnmower and snowblower in the garage this morning.

As an aside, I will suggest that anyone test-starting their snowblower after a summer off should remember to check what throttle setting they left last spring. "OFF" does not work well for starting.
