Waning moon again

Air temperature 44 F, wind west about 5 mph, clear sky. May rake some leaves this morning, even though our trees still have plenty of ammunition.

As we suspected

Had to drive outside of town for an errand this morning. A lot of bare trees out there. Still have some "color" and a lot of brown oak leaves, but peak passed with the northeaster.

Autumn rituals

North Neighbor seems to be setting up for a yard party, with tables and shocks of corn and the croquet set in the lawn. And the cider press we sold them a few years back, when our sons outgrew our own rituals.

There will probably be "music" . . .
