Sunday foliage report

We are near peak in the color department, a vague target as some trees drop their leaves even as others turn. Asters and goldenrod continue to bloom, as do the roadside clovers.

No roadkill sighted. City still has areas of road that need finishing before the snow flies, so those may count.

Got out on the bike, temperature still in the 50s F so I wore the ski top over regular bike gear, but did not die. Ride takes me over 1200 miles for the year. We'll see how many more outings come along. Any one could be the last.
