Thick-o-fog sunrise

Air temperature 32 F, wind calm, fog under clear sky. Frost on the roofs again. Had entertained delusions of a bike ride today, but not sure we'll warm up fast enough for that.

Easily confused

Seeing news coverage of that woman with pipe bomb materials and an "arsenal" of assorted weapons. The photos of the "guns" all seem to be marked with the orange muzzle that designates toys and reading details tells me they are all pellet or BB guns . . .

Season of nude trees

Some of the maples have joined the ash tree rush to dump leaves and show bare twigs to the coming storms.
