Air temperature 59 F, wind NNW about 10 mph, overcast with scattered showers. Was able to walk for the newspaper. Temperature supposed to drop throughout the day, with frost advisories again tonight.
"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." I know some of you want to rephrase this to "Power tends to attract the corrupt." I think it's a mix of both . . .
Dammit, B-17 crash in Connecticut, with fatalities reported. Above and beyond the human cost, we don't have many of those old birds left. Wonder if it is the one I was on, years ago . . .
