Sunday butterfly report
Sep. 15th, 2019 02:36 pmCaught up with another monarch flapping its way south and west. Gonna be a long slow trip if even I can pass it.
More of the big showy purple asters blooming, snowdrifts of white small asters, lots of goldenrod, etc, etc.
No fresh roadkill. Various corpses observed but previously reported.
Warmed up, still windy, but got out on the bike. Upriver to my usual stop overlooking the dam, across and down the other side, then away from the river and over some hills and dales. Did not die.
