Fog lifting morning

Air temperature 67 F, wind SE about 5 mph, clear sky after early fog. Humidity 95 %, so roads are slow drying off. Bike ride planned.

Friday floral report

Sumac berry clumps turning deep crimson, some rowan berries going orange, rambling roses continue to ramble. Usual roadside suspects continue, including a few milkweed plants just blooming while other pods are ripening.

No fresh roadkill. Tuesday's porcupine is dissolving into its component molecules by the roadside.

Roads dried off, got out on the bike. Did not die. Today's route takes me over 700 miles for the year.
