Air temperature 70 F, wind south about 10 mph, thin overcast that just traps the heat. Increased chickadee traffic at the feeders, perhaps adults showing a set of fledglings the local food sources. Maybe I'd better refill . . .
Bike inner-tube replaced. Sunflower seed replenished. Chickadees utilizing refreshed resource.
Haven't seen or heard any merlin activities around the nest in several days. We've had enough time since I first spotted the adults courting . . .
