Wednesday aviation report
Jul. 24th, 2019 11:34 amHeard a helicopter off in the distance at my water stop, looked off in that direction, and saw what looked kinda like a Skycrane. Then reset the range, and turned it into a dragonfly -- one of the huge versions that really should mount lights and a transponder.
No roadkill sighted. One monarch butterfly fluttering along.
Roadside flowers extensive, but the only new species is smartweed and possibly a different type of wild rose. Blooming at a different time and different area, anyway.
Got out on the bike, did not die. Ride takes me over 600 miles for the year, a pitiful total but mine own.
