Air traffic control

Air temperature 61 F, light NW breeze, line of clouds to the south but otherwise clear. Should be able to get out on the bike this morning. Fair amount of traffic at the airfield -- we'll see if I find any interesting birds on the ground.

Sunday aggravation report

Went to pump up the road bike tires before riding and the front tire went flat. Suspect a broken valve. Anyway, pumped up the mountain bike tires and headed out for a shorter ride . . .

Curled dock blooming, hard to tell because green flowers. Also, more daisies and lupines and phlox, and buttercups looking like solid splashes of yellow paint.

No exotic birds over at the airport -- KC135s and C17 only. Mockingbirds singing in several known territories.

Not raining, not windy, added mileage (if only half of what I'd planned). Did not die.
