Air temperature 38 F overnight, frost back in the hills. 50 F now, wind east light and variable, high thin clouds. We are promised rain, off and on, for the next 3 or 4 days . . .

Change in tenancy?

This year's song sparrow uses a different set of perches than the one we've had for several years. We still seem to be a desirable property, though, with good nest sites and a steady supply of bugs and seeds.
