Patrolling raptors

Air temperature 31 F, wind south about 5 mph, clear sky. Had an adult bald eagle cruise over my left shoulder during my newspaper walk, about 10' above the road. It wheeled back to check out a patch of asphalt and then turned down an alley . . .

A sad day . . .
