Digging out Monday

Air temperature 9 F, wind NW about 15 mph, windchill -8. Still overcast with occasional flurries. Further snowblower and shovel work pending.

Siege continues cold

Managed to clear driveway down to a usable surface, car, steps. Worked up a sweat while freezing my feet. This is a reminder to take off layers as you get warm in winter -- damp clothing will chill you later.

Utility

Snowpack seems ideal for iglu construction. Get out your snow knives and build some domes!
