Snowplows rumble on

Air temperature 29 F, dew point 27, overcast, winds calm. Apartment just up the block has the classic fire-drill of everyone moving cars to allow the private snowplow a clear shot at their parking lot.

Bodies are weird things

Muscle memory is a great thing for learning karate forms and tai chi, but I have shoveled our old driveway for so many years that I still glitch when I reach the points on the new asphalt where we used to have cracks or humps or hollows.
