Air temperature 34 F, dew point 33, wind NNE about 10 mph, overcast and light mist. About an inch of wet snow overnight, enough to bring out the city crews before 6 AM. Not that anyone would want to sleep in on a Saturday morning . . .
I should note that Public Works has followed their annual schedule dictating delay of leaf collection until after the first snowfall. Now the leaf piles can freeze in place and/or be spread far and wide by the plows . . .
