Tuesday floral report
Aug. 14th, 2018 11:14 amFirst asters blooming, small white and very pale purple. Other usual suspects by the roadside, including more masses of tansy than I remember. Must like this weather.
Roadkill -- one adult porcupine by the roadside at about mile 10 on the route, one Eastwing tack-puller in the road at mile 6. I stopped and collected that, decent brand and condition. Not-roadkill, one chipmunk zipping across the road and then perching on a planter to look cute.
Got out on the bike and contributed to the humidity, although sweat did not evaporate well. Did not die.
