Tuesday mileage report

Milkweed pods are filling out, swathes of thistles and goat's-beard gone to fluff, usual roadside-ditch purple plague everywhere. One probable raccoon thoroughly flattened at about mile four on my ride.

Got out on the bike before real heat smashed down on us, did not die. Ride takes me over 700 miles for the year.
