Tuesday summer report

Canada thistles, milkweed, and cow parsnip blooming, mock orange flowering in town. Rest of the usual suspects continue.

Roadkill, one long-tailed weasel out in the bog, I think the first I've seen in all my rides. Same area where I saw that dead martin last year and have seen several mink. I've seen short-tailed and least weasel corpses before, but maybe the long-tailed are smarter or faster. More likely, I've misidentified some mangled remains.

Got out on the bike, dodging two areas of construction, did not die.
