Air temperature 42 F, calm, patchy fog for the newspaper walk. Supposed to warm up later, be almost hot tomorrow.

I know you don't want to hear this, but you actually DO have to share a world with THOSE PEOPLE.

Lupines showing color, with some flowers/florets actually open. More Canada mayflower and honeysuckle blooming. Still no trillium or moccasin-flowers seen.

Roadkill biomass requirements met for a month or more -- dead deer at about 9.5 miles into the ride. Also, live deer seen at about mile 5, browsing twigs in broad daylight. (Note to the Bambi lovers -- we have an excess of deer, to the point of damaging their range.)

Temperature got up into the upper 50s F, got out on the bike, did not die.

15.26 miles, 1:11:04
