Robin serenade

Air temperature 44 F, overcast, wind west about 7 mph. Supposed to clear off and reach the upper 50s F today, then back below bike temperature until next week. Ride scheduled.

Friday roadkill report

One squashed gray squirrel initiates the world-famous roadkill tally for the year. Wood frogs croaking in a cattail marsh, red-wing blackbirds claiming other cattails, all not roadkill.

Got out on the bike in about 50 F plus wind, roughly 10 miles, did not die.
