Air temperature 17 F, calm, scattered clouds for the newspaper walk. We have reached the point in our planetary loop where I can see when I get out of bed.
We keep some prisms on the sash of an upstairs south window. This morning, they provided us some excellent spectra gliding across the walls and floor. The light show has gone away now.
I'm watching a section of old trolley rail working its way up out of the asphalt of the road I follow on my newspaper walks. And thinking of the "Jaws" theme . . .
If one of the city snowplows latches on to that, there will be entertainment.
