Friday milestone report

Asters, from white to intense purple. Chicory/cornflower still going strong. Japanese knotweed blooming, invasive alien.

One dead probable mink by the roadside in the bog. Many small food creatures rejoice.

Slight tinge of yellow showing on the tamaracks and some ash trees.

Got out on the bike. Today's ride takes me over 1000 miles for the year. Did not die.
