Larger vivid asters have started to bloom. More red maples turning, out in the bog, and bracken is yellowing.

Saw the cemetery pond heron again, just on my return pass through there. Assume it was hidden in the weeds on my way out.

Windy, threat of rain later, got out on the bike. Did not die.
