Thick o' fog

Air temperature 48 F, dew point 48, calm. Predictable results. Fog had burned off by newspaper walk time, sunshine now. Bike ride after a bit of warming.

Friday floral report

More chicory, more goats-beard, more water parsnip. Lots of day lilies. First wild tansy blooming -- previous report was garden-type. Some of the municipalities are mowing roadsides now, which cuts down on floral ID and also roadkill reports.

Got out on the bike, little wind and pleasant temperatures. Did not die. Ride takes me over 600 miles for the year.
