Tuesday roadkill report
Jun. 13th, 2017 10:50 amOne fragmentary mammal near the cemetery pond, fur color says either muskrat, mink, or woodchuck. All are available. Also one porcupine at about mile 9.5, mostly intact.
First blue flag irises seen, roses in the bog, one patch of orange hawkweed, and the black locusts have started their campaign to suffocate all air-breathers.
Mid 70s F when I headed out on the bike, 84 F when I got home. Did not push for speed. Did not die.
