Tuesday roadkill/floral report
May. 30th, 2017 03:39 pmOne fresh porcupine corpse at about mile 9, one large blood splash at about mile 10 without a corpse to hint ID. Big enough for raccoon or porcupine, or even a deer that didn't bleed out.
First color showing on lupine flower spikes, white lilacs blooming as well as the purple, and some spirea flowers are opening. Apple and cherry trees pretty well done except for the chokecherries.
Windy, 15 mph gusting to 30, but I got out on the bike anyway. Did not die.
