Air temperature 48 F, wind south about 12 mph, overcast. Rain overnight, drying off now. We are forecast to get up over 70 F this afternoon, so I have vague hopes of a bike ride.

No reports of death or dismemberment from yesterday's canoe race.

Sunday floral report

First daffodils blooming in town. Spotted a patch of coltsfoot by the roadside in the bog, but no sign of skunk cabbage that I could see. Also no roadkill.

Temperature got into the 50s F and little wind so I headed out on the bike. By the time I got to my usual water stop at the first Interstate crossing, I was warm enough to take off the ski top and strap it on the back of the bike. First complete local loop of the year.
