Maine has two seasons

Winter and Road Repair:
MDOT and various Minions are starting in on the season of Traffic Obstruction, which will make Wife's drive to work more interesting for the next few months. Also affects several of my bike routes, either directly or by ripple-effect, diverting trucks onto roads unfitted for such traffic.
Winter and the Fourth of July:
We're predicted to go from highs around 50 F (last week) to highs near 80. At least this will be less stressful for Younger Son and Significant Other, scheduled to visit us shortly, coming from the ovens of southern California. Which leads to:
Winter and Tourist Season:
The "Summer Complaints" have started to clog our roads with their Winnebago Monsters just in time for Traffic Obstruction Season . . .
(On a brighter note, Wife reports that the spring peepers have taken over the airwaves at the nature center, now drowning out the wood frogs.)
