Snowing

(All I have to do is type "Sn" for a subject and LJ helpfully supplies the rest.  Getting boring?)

Storm late coming, only had a couple of inches accumulation for the morning newspaper run.  Don't know if rolanni had to go in to work or not.  If so, bug out early, Sharon, okay?

We're still projected to get about a foot of total out of this.  Various differences of opinion as to whether some portion of that will be sleet, and "coastal" may get ice as well.  More power outages likely.

Wife has declared that nature center central can wait until tomorrow for their end-of-month banking.

Preliminary snow relocation

Have taken advantage of a gap in the weather radar, running the snowblower around our functional surfaces.  We now could, if we wished, get out of the driveway, or use either door to escape fire.

No point in clearing the cars yet.  Besides, a layer of snow keeps the damned redpolls from perching up overhead and defecating on the windshield . . .
