The ski trails have been shot to hell since that warmup over the weekend.  So this won't make them worse.  Maybe our cars will revert to their official colors?

(Well, we chose the color on the new one to match road grime . . .)

I hope Olympia and Susan managed to earmark a few billion dollars for Maine in that "stimulus package" -- get something out of their cross-party leverage.

To quote an ancient sage, "I have a very bad feeling about this . . . ."

Going back well into last year, Congress has been making huge commitments in full-bore panic mode, passing legislation and approving money on improvised bills that NOBODY understands.

Gah.

All you young whippersnappers out there had better plan on working long hours for a long time to pay for it.
