Impending doom

The weather prophets say that we're gonna get cold by the end of the week.  This, relative to lows around 0 F . . .

Skis!

In the normal course of things, I wouldn't go skiing (or biking, or anything else strenuous) two days in a row.  This aging flesh has limits.  But we're threatened with high temperatures around zero F for the next few days, with wind.  So I dodged finches and pine siskins to head out to the City Forest again.  Good kick and glide, no ice or wet snow -- excellent ski conditions.

Not even any sarcastic ravens offering sports commentary.
