Okay, I did my year-end accounting yesterday, as previously noted.

Today, I receive a check from one of the architecture projects.  Yay.  But.

Check was written in 2008.  Will be reported to the IRS as paid to me in 2008.  Will be on 2008 taxes.

Even though I didn't see the money until 2009 . . .

Accounting entropy strikes again.

Some things have changed for the better

Way back in the long-ago, we didn't have a governor and a major general welcoming us home . . .
