Black ice morning

Rain and thaw over the weekend, temperatures drop below freezing.  Guess what happens?

A couple of hours more and I can dump Sister at the airport, ridding ourselves of tumult and conflict.  Or anyway, an extra competitor for the bathroom . . .

Sun shining now.  That's two bright spots for the morning.

Exorcism

Well, I have dumped Sister at the airport.  The airline's website reports the plane departed thence and landed in Boston.  Xmas decorations undecorated and dumped in the dusty attic, formal silverware reboxed, beds shuffled back to their proper order and owners.

I declare this blight of a season ended.
