Cloudy seems to be our default state.  Nothing coming out of the sky at this moment.  Road and sidewalk surfaces usable.  Forecast still calls for crap later.

The finches certainly seem to think we have Weather in our future.  They've been mobbing the feeders this morning.  And the chickadees have been taking multiple seeds, cache for hard times, instead of just nabbing one seed and cracking it open for immediate consumption.

Snowing

The weather-people still think parts of Maine may get up to an inch of ice.  We shall hope that we don't know anybody in those parts.

And I really think the advertisers should rework their wording.  "This weather brought to you by . . ." is an open invitation for lawsuits.

Wry amusement

I note that a couple of the more-vocal senators opposing the "Detroit" bailout just coincidentally have non-Big Three/UAW auto plants (Toyota, etc) located in their states.

Not saying there's any connection . . .
