Wrote checks to the fed and state treasuries, estimated taxes.  Will go in tomorrow's mail.  Anyone taking bets on how fast* the state check will clear?  They're pretty desperate down there in Augusta . . .

*My guess is, before the end of the week.  But the USPS may dawdle -- they are moving the postal processing center down South, which means mail within northern and central Maine can take an extra day or two . . .
