Insanity defense

Okay, somebody once said, "Insanity can be defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."  Or something like that.

Went to print an email this morning, sending the little electrons to my all-in-one inkjet printer.  Nothing happened.  Little red exclamation point came up on the inkjet printer's symbol in the system bar.  "Printing stopped."  No reason. 

This worked fine yesterday, same computer, same printer.

Tried sending the file to the laser printer, worked fine.  Turned the inkjet off and then on again, no printing.  Restarted the computer, file now prints on inkjet, no muss, no fuss.

We are training ourselves into insanity.

(All this, to print a one-line email from Younger Son wishing me a happy Father's Day evening...)

Obviously no buffalo roaming around these parts (not since the 1700s, I believe), as the skies have been cloudy all day.  No rain yet, and we managed to slip our afternoon walk past the weather gods.
