Sunny, less wind
May. 14th, 2008 09:17 amNaturally, since today is not a bike day...
Supposed to reach 70 F this afternoon, for the first time in a week or so. We remain skeptical. We're far enough inland that sometimes the "sea breeze" gets us, sometimes not. Wind coming in off 40 F water tends to negate the sunshine effect.
Neighbor's pallet-loads of pellets remain on his lawn as a reproach to all us oil-guzzlers. I think that works out to one ton (English rather than metric) per pallet, eight tons, which makes my back ache just thinking about it. Virtue is its own reward?
